A sizable Buddha statue in the Sukhothai style is housed inside the Ubosot and was originally the focal point of pledge of allegiance ceremonies. On the Phichit-Wang Chik Road, about 9 kilometres outside of town, is Watnakhon Chum, which is open every day from 6 till 17 hours.
